Sisimpur

Sisimpur is the Bangladeshi version of Sesame Street, an educational children's TV show on air since 2005.

Era: 2000s

What it was like

Puppets, songs and short stories teach letters, numbers and good habits, all set in a neighbourhood that mixes village and town.

For many children of the 2000s, it was their first alphabet teacher.
