Danguli
Danguli is the game of hitting a small wooden peg (the guli) with a long stick (the dang) to send it flying, known in English as tip-cat.

What it was like
Lay the guli over a small hole, flick it up with the dang, then strike it hard in mid-air. The distance, measured in stick lengths, gave the points.
Plenty of people also have a story about a guli and somebody's window.
