Calendar book covers
Calendar book covers were old calendar pages used to wrap new textbooks at the start of the year, to keep them clean all year.
Era: 90s & 2000s
What it was like
Whether the picture side went out or in was a family debate. Then came your name, class and roll number, written neatly on top.
Shop-bought plastic covers came later, but folding a calendar cover just right was a skill of its own.
